Faiz Ahmed Khan is a dedicated and experienced criminal defence lawyer who has built his practice on tireless advocacy, strategic thinking, and client-focused service. Before joining Whatabout Law, he worked at a top-tier boutique Criminal Defense Law firm in Downtown Toronto, where he gained hands-on experience defending clients facing serious and complex charges.
Faiz has worked on files for individuals charged with a wide range of offences, including second-degree murder, robbery, firearm offences, drug and cannabis charges, sexual assault, domestic assault, impaired driving, fraud, criminal harassment, and bail hearings and Appeals. He appears before both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, and is known for his preparation, persistence, and practical judgment.
In addition to trial and pre-trial advocacy, Faiz has worked extensively at the intersection of criminal law and family law, including cases involving no-contact orders, child protection, and overlapping criminal and family proceedings. He also has significant experience in matters where criminal charges affect immigration status, including inadmissibility, removal risk, and refugee protection.
